Not a stripped-down or warmed-over older version, this program contains everything needed to create quality artwork ranging from digital paintings and photo editing, all the way to web art and animations.

ImageForge PRO's full compliment of image editing features includes customizable brushes, text (including light-sourced 3D text), 3D shape creation tools, Twain support for scanners and other devices, pre-set and custom special effects filters, retouching tools, multiple flood/fill tool types, history list of recently accessed colors, crop or enlarge the canvas, de-skew, etc.

You can even paint with material from another image file, or paint with clipart image brushes. A gray-scale masking layer makes it easy to seamlessly insert portions of one image into the image being edited. Moveable vector objects (e.g., lines and text) may be drawn on a separate Objects Layer and repositioned before being merged into the main image, and many 2D items can be turned into 3D objects.

You may also use ImageForge PRO to produce stand-alone .EXE album libraries containing your artwork. The images may be viewed in a slide-show, as thumbnails, etc. ImageForge automatically generates an installation program to make it easier to distribute your images to others. Options are available to split the install programs across multiple disks, to limit image printing or export, to customize the installation appearance, and even to add a reduced-feature version of ImageForge to allow users to make changes to the images extracted from your library.

Web imaging functions include splitting images into HTML tables, creation of image maps, opening images off web sites, automatic palette optimization, adjust to browser-safe colors, quality settings for Jpeg compression, GIF animation, and even an on-board HTML editor for tweaking the generated code.

IconForge Release 3 Adds GIF, AVI and Icon Libraries

Whether it is to change the look of your desktop, add a bit of splash to a programming project, or even to add animated bullets to a web page, you will find the tools you need in IconForge. The program is optimized to work on small images such as icons, cursors, animated icons/cursors, wallpaper tiles, etc. It also contains features, such as transparent paint, which are necessary to create effective icons or cursors under Windows. With the release of IconForge version 3, CursorArts Company hones an already efficient set of icon and cursor painting tools, while adding many practical new features and capabilities.

New to this version is the ability to automatically generate common animation effects (such as Dissolve or Rotate) from a single image. Single frames or entire animations may also be imported from and exported to AVI video and animated GIF files. Version 3 also makes it easier to add other icon images to animations being constructed.

Programmers and other users who also maintain a web presence will appreciate IconForge's new ability to export icons and cursors as GIF images. Exported GIF files may be single frame, transparent and/or animated. IconForge also imports/exports from BMP, JPG, PNG and other common image formats, and its screen capture functions make it easy to grab just about any image directly from the desktop.

Icons within program files are now easier to edit, including most types of EXE, DLL, OCX and VBX files. Users may also edit icons within DRV and CPL files. Version 3 also adds the ability to create and edit icon library files, in which you may store groups of icons.
